This is Plantain Island. I had written a long spiel about its historical significance, how the island is getting gradually eroded away, and that the life on it is going to change... but the truth is I went back to photograph because it was so vibrant and chaotic - there was always something interesting going on.

In October 2011 I spent four days walking around, photographing at all hours of the day.
